DMCA Policy

Gaming Lawyer Services respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly provided to us. This policy outlines the information required to submit an effective DMCA notice or counter-notification to Gaming Lawyer Services.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on or accessible through services provided by Gaming Lawyer Services infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written DMCA Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information:

  1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on our services (e.g., URL link to the specific content).
  3. Your Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good Faith Belief Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy and Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Electronic or Physical Signature: Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or access was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your Counter-Notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of Removed Material: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • Good Faith Belief Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your Contact Information: Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
  • Consent to Jurisdiction Statement: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Gaming Lawyer Services may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Electronic or Physical Signature: Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).
